The Russian Object 640 tank, also known as the "Black Eagle," was a main battle tank developed by the Omsk Transport Machine Design Bureau. Its development began in the 1990s, and it made its first public debut in 1997. While the Russian military had once expressed interest in procuring related equipment, officials in 2009 denied its existence, referring to it as a non-adopted experimental model or a display prototype.
