TM-BT-42

If you find any bugs, please feel free to contact me on Discord. The BT-42 is a Finnish self-propelled gun modified from the Soviet BT fast tank, entering service in 1942. It retains the BT-7 chassis and replaces it with a 114mm howitzer to enhance counter-fortification capabilities. It features excellent mobility but has thin armor and inadequate protection. It once participated in the Battle of the Karelian Isthmus; due to performance limitations, it was not mass-produced and stands as a representative of rare special-modified combat vehicles in World War II. In the movie Girls und Panzer: The Movie, a three-person crew from BC Freedom Academy drives a Finnish BT-42 assault gun. To the cheerful rhythm of Säkkijärven Polkka, they use superb skills to single-handedly destroy three M26 Pershing tanks, delivering an exciting tank duel for the audience.
