The T-29 was a 1930s Soviet experimental medium tank derived from the T-28, featuring Christie suspension and wheel‑track mobility for enhanced speed. Variants gradually improved armour, firepower (76.2 mm main gun), and a 500 hp engine, reaching up to 81 km/h on roads. Although ready for production by 1936, its obsolete multi‑turret design and complexity prevented service entry.
