VFX Mod is officially released!

After extensive testing, the effects pack has finally reached a stable state and is now available for free on the Mod Workshop. Allow me to formally introduce it:
① Visual Effects
First, let’s cover the visual enhancements included in this pack.

I have replaced the original tracer effects with more realistic ones. However, since many shells share the same default effects, I was limited in how much further I could optimize them.

Modded vehicles, however, can be manually configured by their creators to use the correct shell models (extracted from War Thunder). The Object 685, uploaded alongside this pack, has been fully adapted to showcase these effects—feel free to check it out!

Beyond just model replacements, I have added unique effects for specific shell types. This includes the fin deployment animation for HEAT-FS and the sabot separation effect for APFSDS.

Additionally, I have updated the explosion visuals for mortar smoke shells and added new explosion sound effects.

② With the visual effects covered, let’s talk about the optimizations we’ve made to the audio in this pack.
Since this part can’t be demonstrated with screenshots, I highly recommend jumping into the game to experience it for yourselves—I’ll just give you a quick overview here.

All projectile impact sounds have been upgraded to their War Thunder​ counterparts, covering both impacts on armor and on terrain. We’ve also added whoosh sounds​ for shells and missiles in flight, sourced from War Thunder as well. Finally, the sound effects for tank destructions and ammunition detonations (cook-offs) have been replaced with War Thunder assets.

I believe this mod will significantly enhance the game's immersion. However, there may still be room for improvement, so I’d love to hear your feedback after you’ve tried it out! Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section!
