Still on the Western Front, after finishing off an enemy and retreating behind cover, a Cromwell fired an HE shell that struck the lower side of my turret, just below the smoke‑launcher housing—and again, the whole crew died.\n\nI retaliated with my own 900‑gram TNT HE round. There’s no doubt: Cromwell’s armor is significantly thinner than the Tiger’s, and its crew layout is very similar to the Tiger’s—but the Cromwell didn’t suffer a total‑crew kill.\n\nSo, it seems the British Empire’s TNT is real TNT, while Witzemann’s TNT is just… sand?\n\nT-34s, Shermans, and Panzer IVs in G, F, and H variants all end up immobilized without fail when hit by PzGr.40 rounds.
