Notice Regarding Recent Changes in Online Player Count

Dear players,

We've noticed some players have raised questions about the recent decline in our online player count, so we'd like to provide a unified explanation.

We have officially discontinued multiplayer service for the legacy 2025 version of the game. The main reasons are as follows:

1. Technical compatibility issues: The legacy version cannot work with our new effects packages, APS components, and other core modules. Continuing to maintain it would create a large number of hard-to-diagnose issues between old and new versions.

2. Burden of legacy bug reports: Players were still reporting bugs on the old version that had long since been fixed. This created significant strain on our technical support and version maintenance work, and diverted resources away from iterating on the current version.

3. Pirated/cracked clients can no longer log in: All unauthorized cracked or pirated clients will also be unable to connect to our servers.

To give players ample time to migrate, we set aside a 3-month grace period in advance. Unfortunately, some users running cracked/pirated versions did not locate our official download channels during this window, and the resulting drop-off from these users is reflected in our online numbers.
