The Rafale A demonstrator first flew in 1986, and after a long development the type entered service with the French Navy in 2004 and with the French Air Force in 2006. Dassault called it an omnirole fighter: a single aircraft able to carry out air superiority, ground attack, reconnaissance and nuclear deterrence missions, sometimes all in the same sortie, a promise it has kept in combat over Afghanistan, Libya, Mali, Iraq and Syria. The Rafale C is the single-seat Air Force variant, and the F3-R standard, qualified in 2018, brought it the RBE2 active electronically scanned radar, the Meteor long-range missile and the Talios targeting pod, alongside the SPECTRA self-protection suite. Powered by two Safran M88 engines and reaching about Mach 1.8, its delta wing and close-coupled canards make it remarkably agile at low speed. In this version it carries its internal 30 mm Nexter 30M791 cannon with 125 rounds and eight MBDA MICA EM missiles, an active radar-guided Fox-3 weapon that tracks its target with its own seeker after launch, leaving the pilot free to break away, while its thrust-vector control lets it turn hard right off the rail, making the same missile as dangerous beyond visual range as in a close dogfight. Fittingly, rafale is the French word for a gust of wind, or a burst of fire.\n\nMod by STL785. Outwardly it keeps the long fuselage, twin fins and blended wing of its ancestor, but the canards and the dorsal airbrake of earlier prototypes were deleted, the structure was reinforced for a service life of 6,000 flight hours, and the cockpit was rebuilt around two large multifunction displays. The prototype first flew on 19 February 2008, and the production Su-35S entered service with the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2014. Its two AL-41F1S turbofans each deliver about 86 kN dry and up to 142 kN with afterburner through thrust-vectoring nozzles, which let the pilot point the nose well beyond the limits of conventional controls, while the Irbis-E passive electronically scanned radar can detect fighter-sized targets at very long range. Reaching about Mach 2.25 at altitude and 1,400 km\u002Fh at sea level, it remains one of the most agile heavy fighters ever built. In this version it carries its internal 30 mm GSh-30-1 cannon, two GSh-23 gun pods, two R-73 short-range missiles and two Kh-31 air-to-surface missiles.\n\nRemastered by STL785 from XF's Su-35.","8d1qgHjipxSxJiJJdzSr",[],[13,14],1792271483418,66.66666666666666,12,{"guid":30,"displayName":31,"description":32,"author":9,"coverImageId":33,"tags":34,"supportedPlatforms":35,"updatedTime":36,"isHidden":16,"hasShowcase":16,"recommendationRate":37,"totalReviews":37},"25cd061a-6fa3-4981-8dff-3846ef9f61b6","StandaloneWindows64_Vehicle-M109","","5mkmfgEavkNhrO9cxP7K",[],[13,14],1791987341391,0,{"guid":39,"displayName":40,"description":41,"author":9,"coverImageId":42,"tags":43,"supportedPlatforms":44,"updatedTime":45,"isHidden":16,"hasShowcase":16,"recommendationRate":37,"totalReviews":37},"15548c7b-ebfc-433c-a739-5e6538b9953e","STL-F-15C","The F-15C Eagle is the improved single-seat version of the McDonnell Douglas air superiority fighter, whose first prototype flew in July 1972. Compared with the original F-15A it carries more internal fuel and can mount conformal fuel tanks along its intakes. The F-15 family holds a combined record of 104 air-to-air victories without a single loss in air combat, and during the 1991 Gulf War alone USAF F-15Cs were credited with 34 Iraqi aircraft.\n\nFrom 2010 the Air National Guard began receiving F-15Cs modernised with the Raytheon APG-63(V)3 AESA radar, known as the Golden Eagle. Dassault called it an omnirole fighter, a single aircraft able to fight for air superiority, strike ground targets, fly reconnaissance and carry the nuclear deterrent, and it has proven the claim in combat over Afghanistan, Libya, Mali, Iraq and Syria, where much of its work was the support of troops on the ground. This Rafale C F3-R is set up for that mission. Under each wing an AT-730 triple ejector rack carries three AASM 250 Hammer weapons, the French answer to the need for a precise stand-off munition: a standard 250 kg bomb fitted with a guidance kit and a solid rocket motor that burns for thirty seconds, so that it can be released far from the target, climb and glide in from tens of kilometres away. The SBU-64 version carried here pairs inertial and satellite navigation with an imaging infrared seeker for metre-class accuracy, even against moving vehicles, while a Damocles pod under the right air intake lets the pilot find and designate targets. Six MICA EM missiles and the internal 30 mm Nexter 30M791 cannon remain for self-defence, keeping the Rafale as dangerous to an enemy fighter as it is to a column of tanks.\n\n\nMod by STL785.
